New Review of Debut Release
Time and the Hour -- '14 Years' from Indie-Music.com "With 'In The Middle', Time and the Hour complains about being stuck in the middle. During this gutsy rock song, vocalist Todd McCombs speaks of "hoping for a little piece of mind." It's as though this middle ground, whatever or wherever it is, is keeping him from the mental rest he needs. Elsewhere, "Listen" is slightly funkier, while "Empty Pockets" quiets the sound down considerably. Even so, there is electric guitar on the track. Time and the Hour make mainstream rock. But unlike, say, Nickelback, this band doesn't sacrifice passion for its crisp and clean sound."
